| I started my life in the copier industry almost 25 years ago at a company by the name of Pederson, I worked alongside Chris Wilcock (Director) and Gary Finlay (Senior Field Engineer). Initially I began as a delivery driver / installer and after around 12 months in this role I was offered the opportunity to become a technician. My mentor during this period was Gary, thanks to him I was able to gain the necessary skills to become a qualified technician. After 5 or 6 years in this role I decided to start my own business and “Code Red Photocopier Services” was born. I ran this business successfully for 16 years, after which time I took up the opportunity to work with Chris again and sold Code Red Photocopier Services to DDS Office National. Since joining DDS Office National as Service Manager in 2008 I have seen the business and its focus towards customer service grow significantly. Our aim is to become the leading photocopier dealer in the country. I believe we can only do this by generating a large base of Satisfied and happy customers. We are currently the largest independent dealer in Victoria for both Sharp and Kyocera, with the recent acquisition of Central Victorian Business Machines in Bendigo I can only see our company going from strength to strength. I am sure that along the way we will make some mistakes and some clients will become disenchanted with us. My philosophy has always been its not so much about the mistakes you make, its how you fix them that is important. Many of the strong relationships we currently have with customer have been forged out of our ability to rectify / satisfy our clients and their grievances. Outside work I enjoy water skiing, surfing, football, tennis, dirt bike riding and four wheel driving. Fortunately my wife and three kids are all involved in these sports, which gives us the opportunity to spend a lot of time together enjoying them. Having the time to dedicate to sharing different sports and activities with family is an important part of raising a family and something which brings enormous satisfaction. | ||

| My career in this industry also began at Pedersen Office Supplies as a part timer after school and on Saturday mornings over 30 years ago, I literally started at the bottom and worked my way up through the company, eventually managing one of their 13 outlets nationally. I have continued in this industry ever since and eventually decided in 1998 it was time to create what is now known as Digital Document Solutions (DDS Vic). We have now grown to become the leading independent Sharp and Kyocera Copier dealer in the state. We share very strong beliefs at DDS and I am lucky to have such a dedicated team that share my passion and ideals. I understand that our business is nothing without the people that work here, our clients and our suppliers and we enjoy strong relationships on all fronts. It is my focus to build, to maintain, and if necessary do what ever we can to repair these relationships. We are committed to continued improvement. We aim to not just meet, but beat the expectations of our customers. It is simply not enough for us to meet what the industry offers – we aim to improve on what the industry offers and we are inspired by innovation. We recently invested significantly in new software to help take us to the next level in customer care and provide improved service response times and better quality of information Outside of work I love and enjoy my family and I am blessed (and challenged) with three beautiful daughters. I enjoy playing golf when the time permits and eagerly await all holidays. I enjoy most other sports but I love my footy. | ||
